Chris Parker
Athletic Director/Head Baseball Coach
cparker@ph.vccs.edu
Athletic Director Christopher Parker comes to Patrick Henry with a
Master's degree in Sports Leadership and a concentration in athletic
directing from Virginia Commonwealth University. He understands the
importance of athletics to a college as well as to each
student-athlete.
"Athletics is the front page of most universities and colleges around
the nation. We want to present ourselves as an outstanding two-year
college that excels in both athletics and academics," Parker says.
Parker also understands the importance of being able to extend the
athletic and academic years of students who want to move on to
four-year institutions. "Many young student-athletes will attend a
two-year college in order to mature both physically and mentally, and
that is what we are here to help them do," says Parker. "As an
athletic department we want to present a clear mission for each of our
student-athletes to adhere to and understand." |
