He continued coaching until graduation in 2005, when he graduated with a Bachelor's in the Science of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with minors in both Spanish and Biology. Coach Parker also had the opportunity to serve as a Head Coach in the Stan Musial summer collegiate league. During the 2005-2006 school year he worked with Virginia Commonwealth University's baseball team as a graduate assistant coach, while receiving a Master's degree in Sports Leadership. This past summer Coach Parker spent the summer coaching in the Coastal Plain League with the Martinsville Mustangs. Coach Menschner enters his second season with the Patriots, while serving as the pitching coach and the recruiting coordinator. Paul reigns from the cornhusker state, growing up in Omaha, Nebraska. After a shortened career due to injuries at Northwestern, he found himself wanting to coach. He served as an undergraduate volunteer for his alma mater before graduating with a degree in Physical Education and now he is pursuing his Master’s in Sports Management from American University. Coach Menschner also has several years experience in American Legion baseball both in Virginia and Nebraska. Coach Parker said of Coach Menschner,”I really admire Coach Menschner’s work ethic and the value that he adds to our team and coaching staff.” “He has already made a huge impact on our program here at PHCC.” Coach Menschner resides in Collinsville, VA and enjoys college football when away from the diamond.

Chris Ayers
Assistant Baseball Coach

Coach Ayers is a former PHCC standout on the baseball diamond, while also competing at Greensboro College and Methodist University. Coach Ayers starts his second season on the staff and mainly works with the Patriot Outfielders, while handling the base running duties, and assisting with recruitment. “It is great to have a product of your program on the staff, because it creates a strong sense of direction and past knowledge of what PHCC stands for,” Coach Parker said. “Chris brings that relationship to the program and is always working hard to make PHCC a better baseball program.” Coach Ayers resides in nearby Stuart, Va and is a graduate of Patrick County High School.
