number 7 in the country and finished with a national ranking of 13. He
comes from a long line of young experience. His college career started
at Hampden-Sydney as a player in 2000 and then moved on to Virginia
Tech as a player. In the spring of 2003 he was offered the position of

pmenschner@ph.vccs.edu
Coach Menschner enters
his fourth season with the Patriots, and his second season as
Associate Head Coach. Coach Menschner will continue to oversee the pitching and
recruiting aspects of the game along with more responsibility with
day to day operations associated with the program. Paul reigns from
the cornhusker state, growing up in Omaha, Nebraska. After a shortened
career due to injuries at Northwestern, he found himself wanting to
coach. He served as an undergraduate volunteer for his alma mater
before graduating with a degree in Physical Education and now he is
pursuing his Master’s in Sports Management from American University.
Coach Menschner also has several years experience in American Legion
baseball both in Virginia and Nebraska and spent the 2009 summer as an

that he adds to our team and coaching staff.” “He has already made a
huge impact on our program here at PHCC.” Coach Menschner resides in
Collinsville, VA and enjoys college football when away from the
