Meet volleyball coach Randi Robertson

June 17, 2019

Since Randi Robertson was in elementary school, she has had a passion for volleyball. It started with volleyball camps and quickly grew. In middle school, she started playing competitively and did not stop through all of her years in school. While playing for Franklin County High School, her team won their district tournament and she had the opportunity to play with New River Valley Volleyball in Roanoke. After high school, when Randi was playing outside hitter for PHCC, the Lady Patriots won back-to-back region X championships and were ranked 10th in the nation for NJCAA Division 3 colleges.

Even while in college, Randi began gaining coaching experience as she worked as an assistant coach and then a head coach for several travel ball teams. For Randi, her volleyball journey truly came full-circle when she began helping to run volleyball camps – the camps that first sparked her love of the sport. Through her work with travel ball and summer camps, she has had the opportunity to coach a wide range of players from beginners to life-long players, from middle school girls to college-aged girls. Through her experience, Randi has learned how to share her passion and her knowledge with any player.
