February 21, 2013

Nineteen student-athletes at Patrick Henry Community College were named to the Dean’s List or Honor’s List for the fall semester, the school announced recently.

Students who earned a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the semester while being enrolled in 12 or more credits are placed on the Dean’s List. Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed 30 or more credits and who are enrolled in 12 or more credits are placed on the Honor’s List.

“We’re very proud to see these young men and women recognized for their outstanding performance in the classroom,” said PHCC Athletic Director Chris Parker. “It can be quite a challenge to balance school work with the time-demands of college-level athletics, which just goes to show the dedication and work ethic some of our young people exhibit. They are fine representatives of PHCC, and we are proud to call them Patriots.”

Student-athletes making the Dean’s List were: Ashley Lazo (women’s soccer); Zane Pitzer (baseball), Samantha Barton (softball), Kijuan Arrington (men’s basketball), Lucas Prillaman (men’s soccer), Marcus Waller (men’s basketball), Tessa Bunting (softball), Lindsay Packard (softball), Ambrose Lisowe (men’s soccer), Bryson Collins (men’s soccer), Jesus Reyes (men’s soccer), Emily Patton (softball), Richard Corbitt (baseball), Paul Ragaglia (baseball), Lawrence Dickt (baseball), Fabian Robinson (men’s basketball), Mary Doss (women’s soccer), Tyler Belcher (baseball) and Jordan Kelley (baseball).
