Other teams in the tournament included Vance Granville CC and Central Carolina CC.

Roberts shot a team best 80 which was good for 2nd place overall. Drake followed with an 82 (4th overall), then Shough shooting a 84 (5th overall), the Patriots were rounded out by Prillaman who shot a 90.

Tyler Woodside from Vance Granville CC won the individual title shooting a 778.

“This is a great win for our program,” Head Coach Robert Weinerth stated. “We have been playing pretty good golf despite the weather limiting our practice time. This is a great confidence booster for the team as we head into the Region X Tournament.”

The Patriots had previously finished in 3rd place at the Louisburg Hurricane Dispute and the Central Carolina CC Invitational.

The team’s final tournament of the season is the Region X Tournament which will be held at the Emerald Golf Club in New Bern, NC April 11th through the 13th.
