PHCC’s Prillaman Honored with NJCAA Student-Athlete Academic Award

Martinsville, VA – The National Junior Community College Association national office announced the 2013-14 NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Awards last week and Patrick Henry Community College’s Lucas Prillaman was a recipient of the NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement. This award is given to the nations top NJCAA student-athletes that have an average GPA between 3.80 – 3.99 on a 4.00 scale.

Prillaman excelled this year, finishing with a 3.95 GPA while also participating as a key member on the Men’s Soccer team. He graduated with a General Education Associates Degree from PHCC and will continue his playing career next year at Guilford College, where he plans to study Accounting.1450090_665692240129065_756832922_n
