MARTINSVILLE, VA – Roger “Robbi” Campbell has been named the head Lady Patriots softball coach at Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) and will begin his duties immediately.

Campbell previously served as a travel softball coach for the past seven years, in which he coached across the state and the region. He also coached travel and Legion baseball for six years. Campbell is a life-long resident of Patrick County.

“I am very excited to have Robbi as our new softball coach,” said Christopher Parker, vice president for institutional advancement and campus life and senior athletic administrator. “His passion for the game and connections with softball players in our area will greatly benefit our program and institution.”

The PHCC Lady Patriots softball team is a member of the NJCAA Division II and have won three Region X regular season and tournament championships in the team’s history.

“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity at PHCC,” said Campbell. “I look forward to working with the players we have and creating something special here at PHCC. I look forward to putting in some hard-work and doing the best we can for our young ladies and the community.”

Campbell, a graduate of Patrick County High School, currently resides in Stuart with his wife of fifteen years, Faith.
